An El Dorado for cyclists

The Drâa Valley region is especially well known for the many opportunities it offers cyclists. It is possible to set off completely independently and to discover the entire region. We can provide rental bikes. You can store your own cycle in our protected inner courtyard. March-May and September-November are the best times of year for bicycle tours.

You can use both the relatively little-used main roads and the bumpy side roads. Away from the roads, trails and paths there is a stone desert which is partly cyclable but requires a certain level of knowledge of the area. On request we can accompany you by vehicle.

 

From Agdz you can take the main and side roads to explore the Drâa Valley in the direction of Zagora. You travel along the extensive palmeraie and pass numerous ksour. Travelling in the direction of Ouarzazate you quickly reach the mountains of the Anti-Atlas. Towards N’kob and Tasla the roads are lower and easier to drive along. Away from the main road there are several interesting mountain villages which can only be reached by track.
