Excursions

Round Trips
We own a total of nine Toyota Landcruiser and Ford Transit vehicles which we use for excursions in the surrounding area. We always return to the Rose du Sable in the evenings. In the longer term we are looking out for other wheelchair accessible hotels throughout Morocco.  so that we can also arrange excursions lasting several days to other parts of the country and in the Sahara (sleeping in tents).

We only hire out the 4x4 vehicles with drivers. This has many advantages for you. We can help you to plan your trip.

QUAD-Bikes
Quad bikes are four-wheel motorbikes with extra wide tyres. Automatic quad bikes are also suitable for disabled users with sufficient arm and finger function. Quads are fun sports vehicles for any terrain. With 24 hours notice – but preferably with an advance booking – we can organise several quad bikes. Manual and/or automatic vehicles are available depending on requirements.

 

The terrain around Agdz is ideal for riding quad bikes. The hills and mountains of the Anti-Atlas are the ideal playground for this fun-packed adventure. Even the ancienne piste des caravanes (ancient caravan route) along the Drâa Valley seems custom made for quads. You will be accompanied by one of our guides.

El Dorado for hand bikers
If you have brought a hand bike with you, the area towards Zagora, N’kob and Tasla is suitable for excursions. On request we can accompany you with a vehicle or pick you up at the end of your trip.  March-May and September-November are the best times of year for bike tours. We can also organise overnight stays in tents for you.
